Anthony Robles

Born without his right leg, Anthony Robles faced immense challenges, yet few could have predicted he would not only lead an extraordinary life but also dominate one of the most physically demanding sports—wrestling.
Yet, Robles shattered all expectations, proving to be truly unstoppable. He defied the odds to become the 2011 NCAA Division I Wrestling Champion, a three-time All-American, and the NWCA Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament. His story is one of remarkable perseverance and grit, fueled by his belief, instilled by his mother, that no obstacle was too great for him to overcome.
Robles' journey, detailed in his inspiring book, Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated, has made him a highly sought-after motivational speaker, captivating audiences with his message that determination and resilience are key to achieving the impossible.
A true symbol of perseverance, Anthony is not only a Nike athlete but has also broken multiple Guinness World Records for strength and endurance. His extraordinary accomplishments have earned him induction into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and a spot on the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition. He serves as an expert NCAA wrestling analyst for Pac-12 and ESPN. Among his many honors, Robles was awarded the prestigious ESPY's Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, further solidifying his legacy as a champion both on and off the mat.

Dr. Judith Robles has been a dedicated advocate for underserved, first-generation students and their families across Arizona for over fourteen years. She has consistently provided invaluable mentorship, guidance, and direction to students on their journey to higher education, helping them navigate the complexities of academic life and beyond.
Dr. Robles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in English Literature from Arizona State University, a Master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the educational growth of countless students, while dedicating time to cultivating lasting relationships that support both students and colleagues.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Robles is a proud mother of five and a beloved Nana to ten grandchildren, balancing her academic and professional commitments with her deep dedication to family.

Coach Charles is currently the head coach of the Power Inferno Wrestling Academy in Arizona. He has an extensive coaching resume on the college level, as well as experience with USA Wrestling international teams.
Charles coached at the 2018 U23 World Championships in Romania. He has coached Pan American Championships teams at the Cadet, Junior, and Senior levels. He has been on the coaching staff at three Olympic Games and coached several U.S. international tour teams. During his career at the Div. I level, eight of his teams have placed in the top 10 at the NCAA Championships. During his college coaching tenure, he coached 42 Div. I All-Americans and 5 Div. I NCAA Champs.
Dr. Jennifer Murphy

Dr. Jennifer Murphy currently serves as the Arizona State University GEAR UP Project Director and as a faculty member within the University College. Jennifer has served as a conference presenter at both a local and national level including the 2019 Annual NCCEP Conference, 2018 National NACAC Conference, the 2018 National NPEA Conference, the 2018 Arizona ACT Conference, the 2017 National NCAN Conference, the 2017 ACT Conference, and the 2016 Arizona School Counselor's Association Conference. Jennifer has also been asked to serve as a keynote speaker for the Vermont VSAC/GEAR UP Conference in May 2018 based on her 2017 National NCAN Conference presentation.
Dr. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Educational Counseling.
Ashley Gates

Ashley is a young professional and an Arizona native. She attended Mesa High School as well as Arizona State University. She has had the pleasure of seeing our founder carry out the unstoppable mindset first hand since junior high and throughout his career. She took the role of wrestling manager for the duration of her years at Mesa High. Within her professional career, she has excelled in multiple fields including property management, media, and of course, sports. She is recognized by colleagues as dedicated, trustworthy, hardworking, professional, and going above and beyond.
Ashley currently lives in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband, Jonathan and daughter, Jasmine.

Eric Middleton has served in public education since 2005 helping students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to reach their goals. He began his coaching career over 20 years ago and continues to serve in different coaching capacities. Eric has earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Master's degree in School Counseling and has a passion for supporting young people in their development.
